“Thank You for the Music: A Friendsgiving Celebration”
Mary Jo Vitale, Dawn DiNome and Mark Kirschenbaum present “Thank You for the Music: A Friendsgiving Celebration”. Join us, Sunday, November 23rd, 7PM, at the SeaBreeze Recreation Center for an evening of Broadway favorites and beloved songs, brought to life by friends sharing the stage together. This special concert celebrates the power of music, the joy of friendship, and the spirit of gratitude — all while raising awareness and hope for a cure for multiple sclerosis. Tickets are $39 each via Ticketstripe or cash or check the night of the performance. Ample accessible seating will be available!

MSVP Leadership Needed - by Judy Heath -
After 12 years as co-leaders of our group, Mary Grunewald and Barb Gaines agreed that 2021 would be their last year. We appreciate the work they did leading our group during those years and their continuing participation at MS meetings and in support of individual members as needed. Mary had led a support group in Atlanta for 10 years before moving to The Villages and didn’t hesitate to take on the position here when it became available. Before partnering with Mary, Barb successfully guided members (and still does) who seek disability approval and led the very popular Caregivers Group, which met the 4th Tuesday of each month.
Thank you both for a combined 25 years of dedicated leadership and friendship.
In November, 2022 Jeff Parker restarted our MSVP group activities after a 2-year recess due to COVID. We appreciate that he planned meetings, kept us informed about upcoming events and guided us through a successful Walk. Thank you for taking charge when you did.
However, more individual task management is needed to continue the quality support available from the MSVP. Individual tasks include support for planning the monthly meetings, roster updates and maintenance, walk support tasks, one or two personal support contacts, and a support group meeting leader are needed. Please consider taking on one of these tasks.
